A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL DONORS WHO CONTINUE TO COME ALONGSIDE US!

IMAGINE IF EVERY DAY YOU OPENED A DOOR; ANOTHER HURTING CHILD WAS THERE.

This April, during Child Abuse Awareness Month, The Saville Center is proud to launch the Love Should Never Hurt Capital Campaign- a year-long commitment to protecting access to healing for every child we serve.

In 2025, 549 children walked through our doors.
Each one deserved safety, advocacy, and hope without the burden of financial barriers.

$1,523 sponsors one child.
More than a number, it reflects our address, our home, and our promise to every child who enters it.

As the need for services grows and funding continues to decline, this campaign will help The Saville Center:

• Expand services into Cushing, Perkins, and Guthrie
• Strengthen child abuse prevention efforts
• Update forensic interview and medical equipment
• Restore and improve our historic 1940 home
• Increase space and room capacity for programs
• Explore purchasing additional space to serve more children and families
• Grow our team to meet rising demand

The Love Should Never Hurt Capital Campaign is about more than expansion. It is about building the future of child advocacy in our communities and creating a lasting impact for generations to come.

When you give, you are not just supporting services, you are stepping into a Circle of Safety that surrounds every child who walks through our doors.

As part of this circle, your impact will be honored through:

• Our Wall of Safety, recognizing those who stand between children and harm
• Recognition at key Saville Center events
• Features across social media and campaign storytelling
• Inclusion in our end-of-year impact newsletter
• Recognition on our website
• A commemorative plaque honoring your role in protecting and healing children

💙 What $1,523 Can Do

$1,523 ensures one child is met with safety, dignity, and a path forward—at no cost to their family.

It provides:

A safe place to tell their story
A trauma-informed forensic interview—where a child can speak in their own way, often using tools like markers and playdough to help express what words cannot.

Medical care without fear
A specialized child abuse medical exam focused on both health and reassurance.

An advocate every step of the way
From the first meeting through the final outcome—appointments, resources, questions, and support on the hardest days.

Court support when it matters most
Walking alongside children and families through the legal process so they never have to face it alone.

A facility dog for comfort and regulation
Providing calm, grounding presence during interviews, exams, and court—when emotions are overwhelming.

Mental health connection and coordination
Ensuring access through referrals to therapy and continued healing beyond the initial visit.

Basic needs met with dignity
Clothing, toiletries, and feminine hygiene products available when a child or caregiver arrives with nothing or cannot return home safely.

A space designed for safety and healing
Center supplies that create a warm, welcoming, child-friendly environment—from comfort items to everyday essentials.

Highly trained experts behind every interaction
Ongoing training for forensic interviewers, advocates, and medical professionals to ensure children receive the best, most trauma-informed care possible.

Protection through collaboration
A full multidisciplinary team working together to reduce trauma and pursue justice.

Prevention through ROAR (Remembering that privates are private. Okay to say NO. Always talk about secrets. Raise your voice and tell someone)
Education that empowers children and our community to recognize abuse and speak up sooner.

A system built around the child—not the case
So they are heard, believed, and supported without being retraumatized.
